Azure AD Connect – High-level

This post is part of a series, for the series contents see:
https://irankon.wordpress.com/post-lists/azure-ad-connect/

Taking a brief detour from the Azure IaaS lab, these next few posts will be a mini-lab to setup Azure AD and directory synchronisation using Azure AD Connect.

At a high-level the lab will consist of the following:

  1. Populating an on-premise directory with test data ready to be synchronised.
  2. Creating an Azure Active Directory and setting up a custom domain using Azure DNS.
  3. Setting up Azure AD Connect.
  4. Exploring Azure AD Connect’s options.
